We didn’t see sharks but we did saw one big turtle. We were able to see some fish but none of the colorful fish that we thought we would see. They fed bread to the fish so they came close to the window, but windows have stretches and are not super clear, they are like greenish brown color. The actual Seaworld Explorer tour was shorter than I expected (about 20 minutes or less) but again if it lasted any longer I might have gotten real sick. It was super shaky once you go under the submarine, I almost feel sick when I first went down in the sub and I don’t normally get seasick. We went with a toddler so that was not ideal at all and if I had known I wouldn’t have picked this tour. The part I didn’t anticipate was that you have to literally jump across from the water taxi to the submarine while in the middle of the ocean (mind you that both boats are moving/shaking because of the water current). The water taxi ride was about 25 minutes and it was narrated and the Capitan pointed out some famous people’s houses and shared some interesting facts about Bahamas and Nassua. We were picked up by a water taxi from the cruise port to transfer to the submarine boat. We took a cruise excursion on the Seaworld Explorer. It was very enjoyable, like snorkeling, but without the physical effort and the salt water. We saw a variety of colorful fish, as well as coral, a few sea turtles and some nurse sharks. The guide told us the names of all the fish and pointed out where to see other interesting animals. I could tell they were feeding the fish up above, but that didn't matter to me, because it made the fish come closer to the windows. We all sat on seats that folded out of the wall in front of windows all around the boat. We had no problems and saw it as part of the fun, but I can see how children, elderly and folks with physical limitations may find it challenging. The tour guide told many good jokes while giving us a tour of the Nassau harbor, telling stories and pointing out the homes of the rich and famous.Īboard the Seaworld Explorer, we climbed down a steep, narrow starcase below decks. We were picked up at the dock by a boat which took us to the Seaworld Explorer. My group of adult travelers went aboard the Seaworld Explorer as part of a Sea and See Nassau cruise ship excursion we booked through Royal Caribbean cruise line.
